I am a perfectionist.

By default, when I have an idea, my reflexive desire is to execute it in a way that matches my vision as closely as possible. But being that I am a human, and that I have spent only a handful of years on this earth, it is often that I do not have the skills to attain that goal. And that leads to the fear that I won’t express myself exactly, and that I’ll have to go back, and waste time fixing things… The fear leads to paralysis. And paralysis leads to a lack of skill.

So, y’just gotta do it anyway. Be quick, get dirty, cut corners, hack your way through. In all likelihood, you’ll have mutilated your idea by the end, made a bastard of it. But you’ll have others, and you’ll be better prepared for them.
